Attorney Eric Wassel has practiced law in Northeastern Pennsylvania since 1999. His practice focuses on all types of Personal Injury, Wills and Estates, and Commercial Litigation. A full description of all practice areas is contained on this website.

He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992, majoring in Business Administration. He then attended Widener University School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1995. He's admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State courts and in the United States District Court for the Middle District.

Eric is a 15 year member of the Luzerne County Bar Association. He has served the Association as a member of its Executive Committee as well as its Bench Bar Committee. He has served as the Co-Chair of the Bar Association Summer Outing since 2001. He is responsible for having the Summer Outing become a direct fundraiser for the Luzerne County Bar Charitable Foundation.

Eric has proudly served as a Planning Committee member of the Allied Services Autism Golf Classic for over 10 years. During that time, the event has raised over $800,000 for pediatric autism services at Allied.

For many years Eric served as a volunteer coach and manager at the Jenkins Township Little League. He reminds all parents of young athletes to cherish and enjoy watching their children on the fields of play, as those years come and go very quickly.

Previously Eric served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Misericordia University, where he taught business and business law classes to both undergraduate and graduate level students.

Eric has been married to his wife Melissa for 24 years. Eric and Melissa have two children, Gabrielle and Tyler. Gabrielle studies Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Tyler is a student at Pittston Area Senior High School where he is a member of the baseball and golf teams.
